Logistics and Haulage

 

          People will always need to move products and commodities from one place to another, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea to chase the business more aggressively.

          In 2009 we were approached by an international logistics company which had large clients throughout Ireland and the UK. We knew we could get them more.

          The initial objective of the project was to “cast the net”, and find as many potential clients in the UK as possible, and hopefully set up 10 face to face appointments. To the company in question, this would have been a satisfactory result.

          We managed 9 solid appointments. Just 1 short? Hardly. We also generated another 35 of our ‘hot leads’, which created a great deal more business.

          We have handled a great deal of clients in this industry, and they are always happy with our results. In one example where the company has targeted SMEs, we’re averaging 3 appointments a day.
